Forget the Fad. Save a Stork.
The average drink at Starbucks costs between $3 – 5 dollars. Most people in our society make at least two trips to Starbucks (or a similar business) a month. Our challenge to you is to redirect your finances in to something that will last longer than 20 minutes. We are looking for people who are willing to give up $7 or more dollars a month to enable us to serve these women. If we find 100 people willing to give $7 every month, that right there covers the cost of saving two women and their children, plus their children’s children and their children, on and on. What is even sweeter than a Caramel Mocha Chip Frap? Saving an entire lineage of people.
Join the Prayer Team
Prayer is a vital and central part of our ministry. We need passionate, dedicated warriors who will faithfully lift us up in prayer. These prayers are so important in protecting our ministry from attacks that we are so susceptible to. As a part of the prayer team, you will receive regular updates, as well as emergency requests for prayer as needed. This is a simple way to make a huge difference in our ministry. Please take this commitment seriously.
Host a House Party
Hosting a house party is an effective way to get the word out about what we are doing here at Save the Storks. A house party is basically a way of casting the vision among the people you know. It is an evening spent at someone’s house with everyone they think would be moved by this ministry and willing to give. There is a time for food and desserts, mingling and chatter. Then the host/hostess (and a Stork employee, if possible) will lead everyone in a short prayer, then show our promotional video and spend about 10 – 15 minutes sharing our vision and imploring people to partner with us. Next is a time of prayer to open up let God move in people’s hearts. It is amazing to watch and see how God works at these house parties to support our ministry and begin a movement for the things that are close to His heart. At one of the house parties, a lady was move to give $100,000!! You never know how the people you invite will be affected. Even if each house party only brought in $100, that would still be very helpful.
Have a Garage Sale
This is a pretty basic concept. Get together with your family, friends and church have a garage sale! Decide ahead of time what portion of the proceeds will be donated to Save the Storks. Who knows! You might find something really great AND support a great cause at the same time!
Donate Your Tithe
We have had a few people commit to giving us their monthly tithe, or a portion of their monthly tithe. With our new Monthly Commitment form, it is extremely easy to do this! You can have money automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account every month, or an automatic payment scheduled on your credit card. The more monthly supporters we have, the more consistently we can care for these women and continue to expand our ministry.
Connect Us with Your Business
Do you own your own business? A partnership with Save the Storks can be a great way to give back and support a cause that is benefiting your local community. If you are interested, please fill out the contact form.
Sell Our Stuff

Save the Storks has some really great merchandise that helps keep us running and widen our exposure. While we sell many of these products on our website, we also offer bulk pricing for persons or business looking to resell our merchandise. If you would be interested in selling t-shirts, beanies or bracelets, please fill out the contact form.
Host a Benefit Art Show or Concert

Do you have a lot of great art that you would like to sell? Or perhaps you are in a band, and are looking for a cause to get behind? Then this is a great opportunity for you! Organize an art show or a concert, and we will send you literature to hand out and tell people about what we’re doing. Let us know what you’re doing so we can support you! Use the contact form to tell us .
Put on a Fundraiser
There are a lot of great fundraising programs out there you can use if fundraising is your thing! Get a group together and partner with the Samaritan Card project to sell the ultimate gift card and raise money for Storks, or get a Chili’s Give Back night going. Host a car wash with your youth group, and get people to sponsor the car washers. If each person can get 10 people to pledge $1.00 per car washed, and you wash 10 cars, that is easily $100! Maybe you have another great idea for a fundraiser! The sky is the limit. Use your creativity to come up with an idea that works for you, and let us know how we can support you!

Charly Sparks
Pulaski, WI
Charly contacted us to tell us that she is giving her monthly tithe to Save the Storks. Even if it’s not a million dollar donation, it is faithful donations like Charly’s that enable us to reach these women on a consistent basis. Thank you, Charly, for believing in our cause!
Logan Melgosa

Logan has been enthusiastically supporting storks ever since he heard about us. He made a presentation to his church youth group about Save the Storks, and got many of his friends to purchase Stork shirts and bracelets.
Corinne Kelley

It was so encouraging to our staff to receive a letter from the Caron family, telling us about the yard sale they put on after hearing about Save the Storks. All seven members signed the letter the check arrived with!

Brittney Julian
Chicago, IL
Brittney Julian used her creativity to bless Save the Storks in a unique way. Read her story below:
“…Myself and about 10 other people hosted a photography event, where we sold framed photographs all taken by Union University students and 2 other people. I first came up with the idea last February and have been planning and working ever since. We had to first get the images from the photographers, then buy all the supplies like frames, mattes, etc. I got everything ready over the summer.
The event went great. We did not sell everything, so we sold the rest this Friday and Monday in the main hallway of Union. Eyes were opened as we told everyone why we were doing the show. We explained what Save the Storks is. The message of caring for women first and trying to save lives in a practical way, while sharing the gospel of Christ.
I think that the actual event would have been more successful if we had advertised better. With a limited budget (which we raised through the website Kickstarter) we were not able to advertise to the best of our ability or desire.”
Brittney, thank you so much for all your hard work!
