Save the Storks is a pro-life ministry that offers free services to abortion minded mothers. We use a Stork Bus that is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, counseling and love to offer young mothers hope. We bring a sonogram machine right to the woman in need to show her an image of the baby she is carrying. We are a movement that is interested in changing the face of pro-life sidewalk counseling by parking near by abortion clinics and offering our services to women going in.

Why Storks section. In short, people have passed on stories of storks delivering babies for thousands of years. For us, a stork represents an expectant mother. Our ministry is focused on loving and serving mothers and not just children. It is by rescuing the mother that we also save her child.
It is a medical type vehicle equipped with a counseling area and a state-of-the-art sonogram machine, which allows us to counsel and minister to women and show them an image of their baby.
We have seen pro-life people show their views in many different ways, from picketing to praying. We have also seen people lay in front of the doors of the clinics until the police take them to jail. Every once in a while we have seen some pretty weird stuff too. We are not interested in debating what techniques are acceptable. However, the Stork campaign is the most efficient and effective approach as of yet.
We show Christ’s love and compassion to the abortion-minded mothers while offering them a free service. We desire to show them Christ in everything we do. We attempt to provide them with up to date, accurate information on what an abortion actually does to the baby and the mother. Women are offered safe and effective alternatives, as well as a free sonogram and image of their baby. Women who decide to keep their baby are offered resources such as milk, diapers, children’s cloths, a safe place to stay, and biblical counseling. We only work with centers that want a life long relationship with each woman. The center that we are working with now offers classes on everything from parenting and nutrition to financial management. Our goal is to walk with a woman as long as she needs us.
Right now, pregnancy centers are a defensive force that waits for women in a crisis situations to come to them for help. This is a very important ministry that we fully support; however, we want to enable pregnancy centers to also operate on the offense. Just like in any sport, it is a combination of offense and defense that wins the game. It is our mission to mobilize the pregnancy centers to meet women at abortion clinics to offer them the same love and care that they would get at a local pregnancy center.
It is our partnership with high quality pregnancy centers that makes us a complete ministry. Without the resources, support and follow up ministry that the pregnancy centers provide, we would be doing women a disservice. Abortion minded women who decide to keep their children need counseling, discipleship, a loving community, food, formula, clothing, diapers and so much more – all provided through the pregnancy centers.
How can you put a price tag on life? It is an invaluable gift that everyone on this planet has been blessed with. The only factor keeping us from flooding the nation with Stork buses is finances. Based on the cost of production and operation per one year of a Stork bus divided by the number of women saved in a year, the average costs is about $350 per stork. This is less than $1 per day for one year to save a stork. There are people who are able to save an entire flock at this price. Please consider giving generously to support this cause.
